Stop misusing your imagination. Your mind can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
Films (movies) produced by the mind. A primary cause of unhappiness. Fundamental essentials films which you play repeatedly in your mind. Using that wonderful imagination you need to reconstruct an event. An experience in which you didn't say what you need to have. An event the best places to have acted in a different way, now you're kicking yourself emotionally and psychologically by repeatedly playing the scenes over and over again in your thoughts.
Misusing your imagination
It is possible to recall everything from that have. That they looked at you, what you said, the method that you checked out them. After that time top of that you simply begin to interpret how they looked over you or even the way they talked to you. Your imagination runs wild. "If only I'd said 'x' instead of 'y' and if only I wasn't so nervous it would have become 'z'. Everyone's had these movies. They could carry on day after day after day although you know the past can't be changed you'll still opt to watch the film that causes you distress. You trick yourself into convinced that you're replaying it so you don't increase the risk for same mistake again. Okay, I'm able to realize that. Learning and growing from the so named mistakes. But it doesn't stop after a couple of repeats, it can go on for the days! And things will get worse. Your ideas start to go inwards, attacking your self-confidence, your mental and/or physical agility. The fishing line between everything you imagine and what you consider slowly becomes blurry. You begin to truly believe you aren't worthy, fast, strong, intelligent, gorgeous...whatever. These movies have to stop. By repeating them over and over you're massaging the ego. Passing on fuel. Creating power.
Your ego
Take a step back in your mind. Observe. Don't judge. Don't fight it. Just observe and laugh at yourself. Laugh at how absurd everything is - the way your imagination can be a useful gizmo or a great weapon.
Then choose.
Re-member, reality are only able to be experienced once.
